The Corporate MBA Program (CMBA)

The Corporate MBA (CMBA) Program at Rollins is a general management program structured to provide present and future senior executives with timely and essential business skills and knowledge.
The Corporate MBA program consists of 19-months of classes over a 21-month period. This intensive curriculum focuses on local, national, and international business issues. By scheduling classes on alternating Friday and Saturday format, the program is tailored to the fast-paced schedule of today's executives and managers. It gives you the opportunity to pursue with your peers a top-quality Rollins MBA degree at a level and pace appropriate to your business experience while maintaining your career momentum.

CMBA Curriculum

The Corporate MBA Program is a full 50 credit hour MBA program consisting of two required intensive courses (2 credits), nine core courses (27 credits), one international study trip (3 credits), five electives (15 credits) and one integrating course (3 credits). These courses are taken over a two year time period.

Year One of the Corporate MBA Program offers a blend of courses intended to develop skills with selected analytical methods and to introduce participants to the basic areas of managerial decision-making. The first year begins in late July with a three-day intensive orientation. Two courses are taken during each of the four nine-week terms that comprise the first year.

Studying the effect of cultural influences on business is one thing, seeing them in action is another. The program of study for the first year culminates with the completion of a course on Business in the Global Environment. After analyzing international business issues through readings, case studies, and formal research projects, you and your CMBA classmates will travel as a class on an International Study Trip to one or more major foreign locations to study management practices in an international setting.

Year Two is designed to utilize the analytical techniques and management precepts from the first year courses to enhance your executive decision making skills. This year begins with an intensive course that covers the legal, ethical, and social issues of business. You then complete three nine-week terms with two courses each, and finish the program with a five-week term where one course is taken in the morning and professional development seminars are offered in the afternoon.
