What if I will be graduating early? Does it affect my financing?

Graduating prior to the end of your fourth year of study at Rollins does not affect your admission into the Crummer Early Advantage Program; however, it can have significant funding implications. Once you have completed your requirements and 140 credit hours, you will have graduated from the College of Liberal Arts.  Most students graduate at the end of their fourth year.  However, some students graduate earlier, after the first semester of their fourth year.

College of Liberal Arts (CLA) scholarships apply ONLY to your CLA studies. If you are not going to graduate until the end of your fourth year, you will continue to receive any/all CLA funding through your entire first year at Crummer. However, if you graduate early, at the end of the first semester of your fourth year, you will NOT be eligible for any CLA scholarships for the rest of your fourth year (typically your first Spring semester at Crummer).

Because Crummer scholarships are typically awarded for fifth-year studies only for AMP students, any AMP student with a CLA scholarship who graduates before the conclusion of their fourth year will likely not receive scholarship funding for the remainder of their fourth year.

Note that athletic scholarship funding may still carry over beyond graduation from Rollins pending eligibility.

If you think you may be in a position to graduate early, please make sure to speak with your advisor prior to enrolling at Crummer to better understand the financial implications of doing so.
