Michael Wallace ’19MBA
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Michael Wallace, and I am a 2019 graduate of the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. During my MBA program, I cofounded “Crummer Speaks: Every Leader Has a Story,” a signature speaker series designed to facilitate storytelling of executive leaders with current students, and completed business projects in Germany, France, Mexico, and the Czech Republic. Upon graduation, I had the honor of being selected as the SunTrust Distinguished Leader of Merit.
Professionally, I have the privilege of serving as a Project Manager with Disney Vacation Club supporting Member Experiences. I began my journey with The Walt Disney Company in 2015 and have served within the Disney Experiences segment at multiple resort hotel, theme park, and backstage locations as an hourly cast member and as a salaried leader.
As part of the Alumni Advisory Board, I serve as the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Integration. In this newly created role, I strive to align the existing work of our three committees back to the faculty and staff of Crummer, the College of Liberal Arts and Hamilton Holt to add value and amplify the visibility of our efforts.
What project are you most excited about working on this year? What excites you the most about it?
Although it is hard to choose just one project, as the Alumni Advisory Board is involved in so many meaningful initiatives, I am particularly passionate about the Crummer Mentoring Program. This program is one that I personally benefited from during my time as a student and sought to give back as an alumnus. Despite being several years removed from graduation, the overall experience and lessons learned I gained as a student have helped to shape the professional trajectory I am on today. Specifically, the professional connections and relationships I made during the program have continued to serve as resources to me on my professional journey with Disney and beyond.

Overall, it is an exciting time to be a part of Rollins College and Crummer Graduate School of Business at this defining moment in time. For those who have visited campus, you can see literally see the development occurring from new residential halls, the recently upgraded Crummer Hall in addition to the forthcoming Rollins Museum of Arts and the Center for Executive Management and Leadership, as part of the Innovation Triangle. Thus, it is an honor to have an opportunity to advocate on behalf of our alumni during this pivotal moment in time. Every event we host has the opportunity to unlock potential regarding collaboration and connection and subsequently drive value to our alma mater.

We kicked off the new Gather & Grow series this fall, and I look forward to expanding that series in a meaningful way. Each event will have a focus on networking, community and enriching our alumni – both professionally and personally.
