Clay Osburne ’24MBA
Clay Osburne ’24MBA is being honored, along with his wife Emily, with the naming of the Jason Clay and Emily McClanahan Osburne Learning Resources Center Huddle Room at Auburn University’s College of Education. A dedicated leader in education, ministry, and philanthropy, Clay has served as a teacher, coach, administrator, and nonprofit executive — including President and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida — and now serves as Senior Vice President at the National Christian Foundation Orlando while teaching fundraising and nonprofit governance at the Edyth Bush Institute. Emily, an experienced nonprofit professional and entrepreneur, leads her own digital branding firm after earlier roles in software training and business education. United by their commitment to service, faith and community, the Osburnes chose to support Auburn’s new College of Education building to help empower future educators and foster collaboration. Their family’s gift reflects a shared belief in education’s power to create lasting change and in equipping future generations to use their talents with purpose.
Julie Colombino-Billingham ’18MBA
Julie Colombino-Billingham’s new memoir, From Loss to Legacy: How a Fashion Business Rose From Haiti’s Rubble, chronicles her extraordinary journey from disaster-relief volunteer to social-impact entrepreneur. Arriving in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake for what she thought would be a brief humanitarian mission, Colombino-Billingham instead built DeuxMains, a fair-trade fashion company created in partnership with Haitian artisans. Her book highlights how the venture grew from a small effort to provide dignified jobs into an internationally recognized, employee-owned brand supported by global partners including the United Nations, Kenneth Cole, Eileen Fisher, USAID, the Clinton Foundation, the Fair Trade Federation, and Nordstrom. Through compassion, courage, and a commitment to economic empowerment, Colombino-Billingham demonstrates how meaningful change can rise from the most challenging circumstances.
Dr. “Navy Bob” Ronscka ’23DBA
Dr. Robert “Navy Bob” Roncska ’23DBA, retired U.S. Navy veteran, contributed a commentary to The Orlando Sentinel on Veteran’s Day. In the piece, Roncska reflects on the profound calling of service inspired by leaders such as President George H.W. Bush and Rollins alumnus Fred Rogers ’51. Roncska honors the courage and sacrifice of America’s veterans while emphasizing the timeless message Rogers first encountered at Rollins — Life is for service. Drawing on lessons from military service, national leadership, and the College’s own tradition of purpose-driven education, he encourages readers to live with gratitude, compassion, and commitment to others. Roncska’s message echoes the heart of the Rollins mission: that a meaningful life is built through strong relationships, purposeful work, and service to one’s community.
