Ginger Killian, Ph.D.

Ginger Killian, Pd.D. is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Prior to joining Rollins College, Dr. Killian served as Associate Dean and MBA Director at the University of Central Missouri. Under her leadership, the MBA program was revised and repositioned, resulting in almost 300% growth in only 2 years. Killian also led a successful AACSB International re-accreditation effort, a distinction reserved for top business schools worldwide. As an Associate Marketing Professor, she served as coach and mentor to student competitors in the State Farm Marketing & Sales Competition and taught courses in Digital Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, and Personal Selling.

Her research interests include marketing strategy implementation, semantic and text analysis as a strategic feedback tool, and higher education program strategy. She is heavily engaged with AACSB International and has presented at a number of AACSB-I conferences. Her research has been published in the Journal of Interactive Marketing; Business Horizons; Journal of Digital and Social Media Marketing; Journal of Management and Marketing Research; and, Journal of Consumer Satisfaction, Dissatisfaction, and Complaining Behavior.

Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Killian gained a practical understanding of marketing strategy through a variety of marketing roles with Fortune 500 companies such as Philips Electronics, American Honda Motor Company, and Allstate Insurance. Having worked in positions related to advertising, sales, CRM, and logistics, Dr. Killian is able to demonstrate the connected nature of various organizational roles.
