About Us

Leadership development is an essential component of the MBA experience.  In fact, leadership potential is one of the key skills recruiters seek in hiring MBA’s. 
At the nationally ranked Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College developing leaders and managers is core to our mission. 

The Center for Leadership Development, unique among MBA programs, was established to provide opportunities for students to develop and enhance their leadership skills and EQ (emotional intelligence).

The Center for Leadership Development offers leadership training and experiences to augment the Rollins MBA curriculum at the nationally ranked Crummer Graduate School of Business.  Leadership students are encouraged to participate in a variety of events, to enhance their leadership skills and gain a competitive edge as they move into today’s aggressive job market. 

The Center’s approach to leadership development is based on four concepts: Academic, Measurement, Experiential, and Recognition.  (links to pages) (Measurement page is new so must be created. Experiential should link to Events page. Recognition links to Recognition page.)

Dr. Bach joins Rollins College as an organizational development executive with extensive background in leadership development and as a certified coach. Her corporate, entrepreneurial and consulting experience also includes human resources and training, strategic planning, team building, change management, career management, communication, organizational culture, communication, and customer service. She has provided consulting services to organizations as diverse as start-up entrepreneurial ventures, governmental agencies and Fortune 500 companies, including organizations such as Darden, NASA, Marriott, Holiday Inns, Embassy Suites, The Peabody Hotel Group, Harris Corporation, GE Harris, AAA, the Orange County Jail and the City of Orlando.

In addition to a strong track record in the business and government sector, Dr. Bach has extensive academic administration leadership experience and has been a professor of business and hospitality management. In her most recent teaching position, at the University of Central Florida in the Hospitality Management Department (now the Rosen School of Hospitality Management), students voted Dr. Bach Professor of the Year.
