About Us

Leadership development is an essential component of the MBA experience.  In fact, leadership potential is one of the key skills recruiters seek in hiring MBA’s.  At the nationally ranked Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College developing leaders and managers is core to our mission. 

All EAMBA students have access to the Leadership Program and may participate in any of the events and activities. Each event will be advertised and students may sign up at the requested time. Students who want to be recognized for their participation in the Leadership program at graduation must complete the requirements of the Leadership Road Map for their class for the first and/or second year(s). The descriptions listed reflect the requirements on the Leadership Road Map.

Students who want to attend events that are sponsored by the CLD and that are held on campus must RSVP 48-hours in advance, unless otherwise denoted. For CLD events held off-campus, the RSVP timeframe will be stated for the specific event in the Crummer Weekly Newsletter. Note: Activities are subject to change; therefore, students should view the Crummer Graduate School of Business Calendar at http://www.crummer.rollins.edu/index.shtml for the most current schedule of Leadership activities.

To track Leadership Center activities, students are required to complete and submit a Leadership Event Tracking form or other designated documentation for each event.

The Center’s approach to leadership development is based on six concepts: Academic, Assessment, Community, Global, Experiential, and Recognition

Assist MBA students identify, develop, and maximize their leadership potential and opportunities to transition into the marketplace and take a responsible role in the community

OBJECTIVES

  1. Define and understand leadership.
  2. Gain self-awareness through assessments, feedback, and experiential opportunities.
  3. Assist students develop and enhance their leadership skills
  4. Provide students opportunities to apply their leadership skills.
