ACCELERATED MBA (AMBA) PROGRAM
THE ACCELERATED MBA (AMBA) PROGRAM at the Crummer Graduate School of Business is a rigorous 11-month program designed for the experienced, time-conscious professional who wants to move ahead at maximum speed. The Rollins one-year MBA is one of only a handful of MBA programs that allows you to earn your degree in less than one year, minimizing career and salary interruption. What's more, your company may even offer a one-year leave of absence. The richness of the class discussion is what attracts many students to the Accelerated MBA program. Students are assigned to a study team which also functions as a support group to help each other through the program.
Classes will commence in June. Each class is limited in size and
students commence through the program as a group. The integrated
AMBA curriculum is carefully designed to minimize redundancy while
emphasizing real-life application of business concepts.
The completion of 52 credits earns each AMBA student the Master of Business Administration degree from the AACSB International accredited, Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. AMBA students complete three twelve-week terms spread out over eleven months.
The 52 credits are distributed among the courses as follows:
- Management Concepts Course (7 credits)
- Nine core courses (27 credits)
- Elective courses (minimum of 12 credits)
- One integrating course (3 credits)
- International study trip (3 credits)
ELECTIVES & CONCENTRATIONS
To obtain a concentration, 9 elective credits must be completed
in the concentration area; however, no more than 9 credits in any
one area of concentration may be counted towards your degree. Although
concentrations are not required, you may choose a single concentration.
Single concentration - 9 elective credits in area of concentration,
the remaining 3 elective credits must be done outside the concentration.
Concentrations: Entrepreneurship (ENT), Finance (FIN), International Business (INTL), Management (MGT), Marketing (MKT).
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available and include corporate, endowed, and
